When we begin your order:
Please email up to 5 images of each subject to RascalandFriendz@gmail.com
Include a short description about the wonderful subjects, i want to know about them! 🙂
If you need any ideas with how you’d like your painting done, i can help you.

Please allow up to 5 months before i can begin on your painting.

The Process…
First: The painting is started with a series of sketches. This is done to decide on posture, and the overall direction of the painting.
Next: The sketches are lined with crisp, clean strokes.
Then: Color is blotted in, then shading, color, and highlights are painted in. Details are added along with finishing touches.
This is a loose idea of how each painting comes to be. This excludes the happenings between each start to finish. In the end, you are provided with a beautiful rendition of your pet.

FAQs

Is this a physical painting?
These are high quality digital paintings created in Photoshop and Sai with a Wacom tablet. When the art is complete, I will send high res files and your professional print.

Can you paint any kind of animal??
Yes.

Why can’t you finish my painting faster?
Trust me, all of your pets mean the world to me. Be it a portrait that will be lovingly displayed in your home, or onto other merchandise and apparel, if I could finish multiple paintings in a day I would. In a heartbeat. It requires emotion, energy, time, effort, and the most important, love. I need to recharge in order to continually produce the artwork that catches your interest. When I begin, I’ll be sure to include a reasonable completion time frame.

How do you do the work?
I paint with a digital tablet that transfers every stroke onto my screen. Very much like a pen to paper.

Do you use Photoshop?
Yes, Photoshop Cs6, and Paint Tool Sai.

How many animals can be painted into one painting?
As many as you need.
Can you paint my dog, cat, reptile, bird, amphibian, and more?
Yes on all of those things!

I need my painting by *insert date here* can you do this?
Possibly. If you contact me some time before the date and slots are available; you can get your painting by then.

Can you draw on paper?
Of course i can. 🙂 It is a preference to offer digital commissions.
